Hello everyone!
So i stayed in Aldergrove which i am so excited about!! But i am now in a tri again! I still am with Sister Rood but now have Sister Settle who is going home in 5 weeks! This is going to be another adventurous transfer! This week was kind of a crazy week! We got transfer calls and then had to figure out how to fit another person in our already crowed apartment but got it all figured out!
We are teaching some amazing people! Katharine came to church yesterday and so did Sonia a part member family who we are teaching and is going to get baptized next month! Katharine is so solid! She loved church and can't wait to come again and keep learning! She is totally going to get baptized sometime next month! We are also working with some other awesome people who are close to baptism as well!
This week was full of a bunch of service projects which i am so thankful for because we have been looking for service opportunities for so long! So we were finally able to help out a few members and less actives with random things! It really has helped me to focus more on others and help them out so i can feel more like Christ did who was always helping and serving those around him!
I have learned a lot this week just about how as we do what we are suppose to and follow our Heavenly Father with obedience and follow the commandments we have been given we will truly be so blessed! I have seen so many blessings come from doing everything i can to follow the perfect example we have been given which is Jesus Christ. There is a reason for everything and Jesus Christ was given to us for so many different reasons, one to be a perfect example, two to teach and establish his church on the earth and three to be obedient to Heavenly Father and do his will as he performed the Atonement so we could each live with them again! We have been given so many things and truly the only thing we have that we can give to our Heavenly Father is our will but even then we are getting things back from him as we follow him and his commandments! He is so generous and all he asks of us is do the best we can everyday and he will make up the difference and help us keep going! I love you all so much and can't wait to hear how your week went!
Love,
Sister Heaton
