So life as a missionary means time flies by way to fast! I can't believe that I am halfway done with my mission! It really is interesting to think i only have the same amount of time left as i have already been out!
Nothing too crazy happened this week! Last Monday we got to go hold and play with baby goats at a members farm! They were so cute! Then i got to go on exchange with one of our STL's which was lot of fun and we got to meet some interesting people but also go tot see some miracles too! Then we had combined district meeting on Wednesday so me and the other district leader trained together and had a lot of fun! We couldn't really plan together so we both kind of just went by the spirit and it was really cool to see how it all worked out and it really flowed! One of our investigators in in Chile for two weeks seeing family which is super cool but we were sad to see her leave but committed her to give out 3 Spanish Book of Mormons and out while she was there and she got really excited about it! We have really been working hard to find more people to teach so nothing too crazy or exciting happened this week!
I have learned a lot about the Atonement this week and the strength and power it gives each of us. Sometimes i forget there isn't just the redeeming power of the Atonement but also the enabling power of the atonement! It not only cleans us from our mistakes and sins but also gives us the strength to never make that same mistake again and to help us to go just that much farther everyday! Although the trial may be hard and the relief may not be immediate, we need to learn to allow God to help carry our burdens. We can do this by turning to Him regularly to seek His enabling power. He can truly help us keep going and pressing forward if we will allow him to! He loves each of us and wants to help us!
i love you all and hope you have a wonderful week!
Love,
Sister Heaton
