This week has been the best week of my life! So much has happened!! First of all . . . KECIA GOT BAPTIZED!!!!! That was the best day of my life! And it was Sister Goldthorpes Birthday and her 10 months and Kecias baptism all in the same day! We had so many miracles other than Kecia being baptized which was amazing!
We were able to have an amazing meeting with our Relief Society President on Tuesday then that same night had a fun Relief Society activity where we made super cute Christmas decorations and they had the coolest thing called a cookie press where you put the dough in this contraption and it makes the cutest cookies! So Sister Goldthorpe and I made some later that night after a member gave us one and the other Sisters over and we had a sleepover and made cookies! It was the best.
Then on Wednesday at district meeting Sister Goldthorpes mom sent her a whole bunch of princess decorations for her birthday so we set it up and got all of us sandwiches from subway and had made cupcakes for it and had a little lunch party after an amazing district meeting! Wednesday night we had an amazing lesson with a referral from a member. We had pizza together before then an amazing lesson on the Plan of Salvation after. It was seriously a miracle night. After we taught her the whole lesson we asked her what she thought about it and if she thought it could be true and that is when she said, "I already know this is true and i want to learn more" It was amazing and also during that lesson Kecia was getting her baptismal interview from one of the members of the mission presidency and right after that amazing lesson she texted us and said it was amazing and he texted us and said she is more than ready to be baptized! On Thursday i got to go to Vanderhoof on exchanges and that was a lot of fun! Sister Arnesen and I had a great time and saw so many miracles! We saw a mom and baby dear while tracting which was so cool! We also got to help a referral and their granddaughter decorate sugar cookies as we had a lesson with her that was exciting.
Then Kecias baptism day! We took her to lunch and had a lot of fun. We had so much to do to make sure it was all ready. We started the font and had to make sure the videos would work for while she was changing. She didn't have a dress and was going to go buy one and was almost late to her own baptism so she didn't get a dress but she made it on time and was ready. Then it was happening. Sister Goldthorpe and I cried almost the whole time it was the best day ever. She was so happy and excited! She couldn't stop smiling! Then yesterday we were able to find 4 new investigators in one day! It was seriously a miracle!
The best part is that it finally started snowing today! It has been snowing now stop since about 8 o'clock! It is so pretty and white here! I absolutely love life.
The sad part is that it is transfer calls today and i have been in Prince George for 6 months and i absolutely love it and don't want to leave! There are going to be a lot of changes this transfer calls and it will be hard but whatever happens is suppose to happen. There are two things that i learned this week that i know for a fact that is, miracles do happen and everything happens for a reason. Heavenly Father knows each of us personally and as long as we follow Jesus Christ and do what we know we are suppose to then we can have the most wonderful and joyous lives you could possibly imagine! I love being a missionary so much! This gospel has changed me and the people i have met so much and it is amazing to see someone who has never heard of our church or the gospel and see them grow and enter into that covenant that will bring them everlasting happiness! Life is just too good to explain sometimes! I love you all and can't wait to talk to you next week! Happy Trails! Have a gooder! :)
