Hey Fam,
I absolutely love my companion. Her name is Sister Tingson and we are so close already its crazy! We are such great friends already! Whenever we are planning lessons we are always on the same page and pretty much have the same mind! We sometimes stay up at night talking in bed until like 11! Whoops! She is from Edmonton Canada from lived in the Philippines for a while. My district is also amazing! We are all like a big happy family! They have grown my testimony so much its crazy! My companion and I are the only sisters in our zone until tomorrow where we get 4 more! There is Elder Green (from Layton Utah), Elder Maurer (pronounced Mora from New Zealand, he has an awesome accent!), Elder Lee ( from Toronto Canada) and Elder Ortiz (from Canada as well). We are all going to Vancouver together!
My companion and i are the only sisters in our zone so i am the Sister Training Leader as of 2 days ago and we are getting 4 more sisters in our zone tomorrow! We are so excited
My luggage is fine after we switched that one out! My companion is tiny and doesnt have that much stuff but i have seen girls with a lot more than me so i think i am fine as long as i can get the weight a little more even! We are leaving from Vancouver next week on Wednesday and i actually get to call you from 6-7 am on June 11th so be prepared!
A typical day at the MTC includes Breakfast, class, lunch, class, studying, district study, zone study, gym, bed. To get ready i have been waking up at 5:30 or 6! I am so tired sometimes but its fine!! One day feels like 3 days in one! They are long but full of some amazing stuff! My companion and i have taught 2 Progressing investigators which is our teachers pretending to be an investigator and one TRC which is like a real person that isn't part of the gospel that we teach. It has been a lot of hard work but fun!
I got to go to the temple today! It was beautiful and amazing! And we got to go on a temple walk on Sunday which was nice!
Food is definelty not that good, i had a hard time sleeping the first few nights but i am sleeping fine now. I usually shower at night so i have time to do my hair in the morning.
P-day is today where we go to the temple, email our families, do our laundry then we have devotional later and eat food! We have a lot of downtime which is nice!
I am out of time but i love you and am so happy i came on a mission!
Love Sister Heaton
