Hey Family and Friends,
This week has been super crazy! The Vanderhoof Sisters came down on Monday last week right after emails and they ended up staying with us until Wednesday morning because of Zone Meeting on Tuesday! We ended up going to Quenelle for Zone Meeting this time! So we had a Prince George caravan where all the Elders, Sisters and Senior Couple in Prince George which is about 13 of us went down in 3 separate cars. It was such a spiritual Zone Meeting! It was so good we talked a lot about how important the Book of Mormon is to strengthening and building up our testimonies! This is so true!!! As we read and study the Book of Mormon daily we will be able to gain a personal witness that it is true as we find answers to our life's questions and challenges! As long as we have a testimony of the Book of Mormon then we know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, Jesus is the Christ and the Church is true!! I can promise you all as you continue to read and study the Book of Mormon and apply the principles you learn from each story in your life you will be able to strengthen your testimony of the church and of our Savior, Jesus Christ! After our Zone Meeting we drove about 15 minutes to this members cow pasture for this "Sacred Grove Experience" that was weird. We were all trying to pray in our own areas and rededicate ourselves to the Lord. It could have been really spiritual if there wouldn't have been any cows mooing the whole time! It was interesting! Then we went on exchanges on Tuesday night again! Sister Manaso and i were together for both Monday and Tuesday and were able to go to a few members houses! We are teaching Barbie still except she is dying and had to go to the hospital again so we are not sure how long she will be able to hold on for but she really loves meeting with us and letting us teach her about the gospel! Then we had an interesting adventure this weekend with the Elders and Kecia. It was super dramatic! She told us some things about her that would stop her from being baptized especially this weekend on her baptismal date. So the Elders decided to give her back to us, so we are now teaching her except they decided this yesterday when they were suppose to tell her she couldn't get baptized this weekend. So we had to tell her and we were all crying because we had no idea what to say or how to tell her. It was awful! So that was really sad but she is still meeting with us and letting us teach her. Then today is Canadian Thanksgiving and we have 2 appointments with people to go eat Thanksgiving so hopefully we can stomach all the food! But it should be a lot of fun! Today is also transfer calls where we find out who is going and who is staying. Our area is really having a hard time right now and we talked to President on the phone on Saturday about everything going on so we have no idea what is going to happen but the good thing is the Lord is in charge and he will know exactly what needs to happen which means so does President so i know whatever happens is what is suppose to happen! I will keep you all updated on what happens and where i go when i get a chance!
I hope you all have a wonderful Columbus day and i can't wait to hear from you next week! I love you all and miss you tons!
Love,
Sister Heaton
