Dear Family,
This past week has been crazy! Last Monday our whole district of Sisters went on a hike up in Vanderhoof! We left last Sunday then slept over in there cabin and all went to the hiking place with a member, Sister Arnold who is amazing! We had to leave right after hiking so we could make it back to Prince George for our appointment with Denise at 6! We were able to make it just in time. It takes about 1 hour and a half to get from Vanderhoof to Prince George so that was a fun drive. We were able to teach Denise some more of the Restoration but couldnt get quite all the way through because we could tell she was getting a little overwhelmed but it was still a really good lesson. She is reading the Book of Mormon like crazy she was in 1 Nephi 11 last time we saw her then the last appointment we had she was in Mosiah 23! She is loving reading though she says it brings her such peace and comfort! We went back on Wednesday for another lesson and i was able to teach her about Joseph Smith and the first vision and you could feel the spirit so strongly then we invited her to be baptized on August 16 and she accepted!!!! She is so amazing, i love her so much! For the rest of the week we were mostly trying to go see a bunch of people before Sister Kindlespire goes home in two days! We also had to pack and clean up our entire apartment since we still don't know if i am going back. Mom i sent you two packages and i was able to make my luggage 50 50 for both suitcases somehow! It was a miracle everything still fits! I might be sending home another one later on i sent the packages on Thursday and they said it would take 5-7 days maybe more. But it was really stressful this past week trying to get everything done and go see people! We left for Richmond on Friday night and have been here since then. We have been trying to help those sisters with their area as best as we can. The English Richmond Sisters are actually Sister Petersen and Sister Tingson (my MTC companion) so it has been really good to see her and talk to her again! For today we are in Sister Kindlespires other area Port Coquillum to visit some of the members here for her before she goes home! I am excited to be somewhere else and see all these different places in Canada! There are so many more people down here in the lower mainland then in Prince George! We have been doing a lot of street contacting because there are so many people! I find out tonight where i am getting transfered to and who my companion is so i will let you know next week who it is and where i am! The weather here in Canada has been really hot expecially up in Prince George but down in Richmond it has been much cooler but a lot more humid but it is still really nice! I can print here so just email them to me and i will print the recipes off next week! We were able to meet our new mission president and mission mom the Burts! They are absolutely amazing! I love them so much! They are definitely the right people to continue and further the work here in The Vancouver Canada mission. He is so humble and kind and they are both just so sweet!
Well I love you all so much and miss you tons!
Love,
Sister Heaton
