Dear Fam,
Time has seemed to fly by! I can't believe its been just over a month since i last saw you! The days here seem so long like they will never end and the weeks so short! I still can't believe its Monday already! I keep thinking it hasn't been that long then i look back and realize i only have about 17 more months to go! Crazy! After i spoke in Church the man from West Jordan came and talked to me! I gave him your number and he said he would call you to share his experience and tell you how i was doing! I totally forgot i did that until you all just told me! It's crazy how much you have to talk to people on your mission! Who would have thought i would be as far as i am now in terms of speaking to random people! I am finally starting to realize that talking to strangers and people i don't know is actually normal! It can be really fun but then you get to talk to a crazy weird person and then it just gets a little awkward because you have no idea what they are talking about or saying! The Lord has definitely strengthened my speaking abilities and I am starting to talk too much now! Its crazy! We actually don't have our new mission president until tomorrow and i probably won't be able to meet him until the middle of July! I don't know how often mission presidents travel around so when i find out i will let you know! My companion leaves on July 23 so about 3 more weeks together then she leaves me! So i have so much to learn before she leaves! I am not sure what will happen as far as my new companion when she leaves but if i do get another trainer it will be weird because she might do things differently than Sister Kindlespire so it will be interesting!
It is way hot here. It apparently hasn't even hit the middle of summer here and i am already dying because of the humidity and the sun. The sun doesn't even go down here until about midnight then it rises at 4 kind of like Alaska!
Its been an eye opening experience being here on my mission! It has really made me so grateful for living where i have lived and having the lifestyle i have had! Its crazy to think about if i hadn't grown up in the church what kind of person i would be and what i would be doing now! I now realize how grateful i am to have such an amazing family and parents! Thanks for being such an amazing example to me mom I love you tons and can't wait to here what an interesting week you will have next! Happy 4th of July on Friday! I am excited to hear about what you did and how it was! I got my BC license in the mail a few days ago. Now i don't have a Utah license anymore, they apparently took it and shred it so i will have to get a new one when i come back.
I have not had any fish the only things that i have really eaten that are different than home is an Oh Henry bar which is delicious and Tim Hortons donuts which are the best donuts in the world! They are so good! I am trying to eat something new every week! Tim Hortons has a bunch of pastries and sandwiches and such! I can't wait to try all the other food they have!
We are still trying to find a bunch of people to teach each day and walk for days i swear! We have a new investigator named Denise who actually contacted us! She was in the hospital for Bipolar for 6 months and is now ready to have religion and the gospel in her life! Before our first lesson with her she started to live the word of wisdom and is trying to quit smoking and is up to about 5 cigarettes a day! We are working with her now! Hopefully everything works out and she is able to get baptized before Sister Kindlespire leaves!
I should probably go but i love you tons and can't wait to hear from you next week! Love you!
Love,
Sister Heaton

My companion and I an interesting experience when we asked the bishop if we could come to his house for dinner. He said he would let us if we helped him castrate his pigs, so we did! It was a new and interesting experience that I don't think I will ever get again!
