Dear Family,
Everything is going so good here in Canada! It feels like this has been a really long week since i have been traveling everywhere!! Last Friday my companion and i flew down to Richmond and i had to take all of my stuff! We were able to get a car from President and go to Port Colloquium and see of the members in her ward there! I got to eat a donair, its Greek Canadian food. Its really good! We ate that by this beautiful river and then went and saw members! They are all so sweet, i hope i get to serve there soon! On Tuesday i dropped my companion off at the mission home so she could have her exit interview then go to a dinner and testimony meeting then leave the next day!! I stayed with the Richmond English Sisters until then which is Sister Petersen and Sister Tingson (my MTC companion)! That was a lot of fun! I was able to go street contacting some more and i can't believe how many people there are there it is so hard to find someone to talk to but i talked to more people there than i do in Prince George! I got the call on Tuesday morning of where i was going and who my new companion would be! I got to come back to Prince George and my new companion is Sister Goldthorpe!! She is amazing! She is so cute and we are similar in so many ways! She has taught me so much and has only been out 6 months! Crazy but she is adorable! We had transfer meeting on Thursday that was so good! President and Sister Burt are amazing and gave us some great advice and helped to renew our energy and make this transfer the best transfer yet! All the Prince George Zone Sisters were down so we got to fly back together and that was fun so we could talk and get to know each other better! When we got back we all stayed in our Sister Training Leaders apartment and had a big party together that was really fun! Before my companion and i left to go to Richmond we empty and cleaned the apartment so when we got back we had no food at all. We had to go through all the shelves and everything to find food to eat. The STL's gave us some bread so we pretty much have been eating toast everyday and yesterday we ran out of bread so we were able to make rice and found a can of vegetables to eat! I am so happy we can go shopping and get some more food! Yesterday when my companion and i were tracting it started randomly sprinkling then 10 seconds later it was a downpour we were running from house to house and ended up being soaked by the time we went to our appointment! We are still working with Denise and getting her ready for baptism. She is already halfway through the Book of Mormon and is loving it and the peace it brings her! We have to push her baptismal date back because she is having a hard time coming to church but she promised us she would come next week so we are praying and hoping she will! We have a few more people we are teaching as well. One we met with the first time last night Erica. She has been studying with the Jehovah Witness's for a while but wants to learn as much as she can about everything so we went and met with her and she is interested in learning more and reading the Book of Mormon!! I am hoping she will want to continue to meet with us and learn more and eventually get baptized! We have a bunch more appointments this week and are super busy! I am so happy i am back in Prince George with these amazing people here! They are all amazing and very friendly! I am hoping we will be able to find more to teach and bear testimony to so they can see what an amazing blessing it is to have Jesus Christ and the his gospel in there lives! I love this gospel so much and i have never been so sure in my whole life that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the one and only true church on the earth today!! My testimony has grown so much just in these past few days and i am so grateful to be on a mission and have this opportunity to be on a mission!!! I love you all so much and miss you everyday!!
Love,
Sister Heaton
