Can't believe how fast this week went by!!!! More like my whole mission! I have been out 16 months today!!!! I don't know about you but it went by a lot faster than i thought it would but i have enjoyed and cherished every moment i have had to be a full time missionary in Canada and can't wait to use every minute i have left to work even harder!!!
This was a crazy week! We have been finding like crazy just searching for more people to teach! There are people all over to talk to so we have been able to meet lots of people! We have a few investigators that are close to baptism but have been super busy and not able to meet but are meeting this week so i am excited to finally meet them and help them progress! We had kind of a slow week just trying to find more people! Sadly all the people we have been finding that actually want to meet again are YSA and have to be passed to the YSA missionaries but we have a few people we have found we are meeting with this week so we are excited about that! The weird thing is that this transfer is only 5 weeks then my last transfer will be a 7 week transfer due to President going to Utah for a Mission President Training so there is a possibility either me or my comp could be transferred so we will find out on the 17th of October our transfer news if we get any (we are praying that we stay together)! So i am trying to get to know the area as fast as i can just in case Sister Magleby leaves me!
Sister Magleby and i are getting to know each other really well in fact we made a list of all our similarities and are continuing to find more everyday! SO we have been having lots of fun and working really hard together!!!!
We also got to go to the best poutine place in the world called La Belle Patate! It is owned by a member so all the missionaries get as much poutine as we want free!!!! And it is absolutely amazing so that makes it even better!!! Plus we get to have a drink from Quebec called Spruce Beer. It tastes like Christmas in a cup it is so good!!!! So that was a great day too!!! But Saturday was the best day ever!!! We were able to do service for one of our ward members who is really sick with our favorite member Brother Brown this weekend and he made us breakfast while we were cleaning up! It was the most amazing breakfast ever!!! Then later that day was Women's Conference that was absolutely amazing!!!! I can't believe how fast it went by! Each talk was amazing and so many of my questions that i have been having lately have been being answered! Then we got to have chocolate fondue afterwards with our investigator! It was a wonderful night!!!
I seriously can't wait for conference! So many new things like 3 new apostles and Sister Magleby think they are going to announce something else really big too! I can't wait to go and get all that revelation and answers to questions!!!! I am so grateful to have a prophet on the earth and apostles to help us know what we can do to prepare and come even closer to Christ!!! We can always do more and can always work harder to become more fully converted and have our natures changed!!!! Love and miss you all!!!
Love,
Sister Heaton
